Can I change emblems on 2013 Avalon Hybrid?

I want to eliminate he blue color on the front and rear emblems of my new 2013 Avalon Hybrid Limited (it has adaptive cruise control and rear camera). Toyota will not give me a straight answer--can I safely remove the rear emblem and leave just the white trunk lid? AND can I change the color layer from blue to black (or, preferably white) using the layer from a non-hybrid 2013 Avalon?
