Ford Flex towing

I own a 2011 Ford Flex AWD with Ecoboost and trailer package. I am thinking about buying an airstream travel trailer for a long road trip from the lower 48 to alaska and back. Does anyone have any experience with the Flex and a travel trailer which might assist me in making a good decision?

It isn't specific to a travel trailer (one is pulling a boat, another a horse trailer), but I hope it may be somewhat helpful.
