Are you in the market for a new or used vehicle and having difficulty finding something in your budget? Or are you finding yourself making trade-offs to find something you can afford (i.e. less cargo space, lower trim level). Noisy acceleration and MPG
I have two problems with my 2013 Elantra sedan with 1400 miles.
1. As others say, I also have mpg of about 22-23 in city with much stop and go only after 3 months. The dealer said that this is the break in period and to wait another 1000 miles for it to improve. That sounds like an excuse but I will see. I will complain and if needed, sell the car in a year or two. It wasn't my first choice anyway. Basically I like the car.
2. This is the noisiest new car I have ever driven and I have driven over 20 different ones on vacations over many years.
The noise is from accelerating-- all the time. Does anyone else hear this and does it bother you? It started from day one.
