Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Hood repair. Or replace?
I have a 2006 PT Cruiser. I rear ended a furniture truck this morning. Of course there was no damage to his truck but my hood is dented pretty badly. I'm afraid to even try popping it open because I'm afraid it won't close once I do. I ended up at least 6 inches under the back bar of his truck. I'm just wondering what would be my best bet...buying a hood and replacing it myself (well...having some techs I know do it), trying to get it repaired somewhere professionally, or getting it replaced professionally?
