odometer quit on 1990 buick regal how do you fix

short of bringing it to dealer. i understood the old cable type odometers but this thing i cant even figure out where it picks up the signal. i assume it must be electrical. the speedometer is digital but the odometer has the old rolling numbers. kind of frustrating. any help appreciated.

    The whole electronic cluster will have to be replaced = BIG bucks! I went to an auto salvage yard and bought one, about half price of new. The dealer couldn't tell me when he could get a new one. They had been back-ordered for months. Hope this helps, Good luck.
