Second gen audio system problems.

I have an '02 Windstar SEL with the deluxe 6 cd change audio system & up til to day have been quite happy for what I have. Eventually I will upgrade to something that I can use blutooth etc, but for now this is sufficient. I just received a new 2 disc cd in the mail & decided to listen to it while I was out & loved it but when I got home there was no way that the player would eject the 2 cd's. I tried all the usual things but to no avail.
Is there anyway to accomplish this without have the head removed & disassembled?
