Fading paint chips on top of my 2007 Camry XLE bought in June, 2006

I came to this website because I am annoyed seeing the ugly chipping on the top of my (previously) beautiful 2007 Camry--sort of a cobalt blue color. I was hoping that Toyota would take care of it (It only has about 45,000 miles and I live in Southern California.) But after reading the comments here, I guess I will have to pay for it out of pocket.
