2009 Nissan Altima Frozen door?

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5. Where I live, we're in a pretty cold period and at times the drivers side front door will open (but then not close) or not open at all thus requiring me to climb in from the passenger side. Has anyone dealt with this and know what the solution/problem is?

    it is probably the doors latch/lock assembly freezing up. replace the latch/lock assembly, and where the cable goes to the handle place a nice amount of bearing grease where the ball locks into the handle to prevent binding of the cable at the handle also. hope this helps! good luck
