2000 Mazda Miata Transmission

Hey guys, I have need help. So, I just bought a 2000 Miata, 5 speed, and been driving it for a few months now and it has crunchy gear changes. The body of the car is so responsive to gear changes, it feels really hard and dry. Should I have a transmission oil changed? New clutch? New transmission? And no it's not my gear changes, I have driven other miatas and they are so smooth and it doesn't feel like going through the back window whenever I change gears. Please help.... Thank you
