Slows down and picks back up.

I just got my 2002 Chevy silverado 2500 HD 6.6 Turbo diesel.I just got it 2 months ago and it was running great and now when I drive like a mile and a certain speed it feels like it what's to shut off bit it just slows down and picks back up but doesn't go fast tho. Can anyone help me out.. thanks.
