98 Jeep 5.9 won't start
The other week jeep wouldnt start so unhooked battery and put on charger.put battery back in jeep hooked up obdll scanner and had no codes and scanner worked fine. Drove car and died in parking lot. Would not start and gauges would not register even the gas which was topped off the low gas light was on. It almost seems like the anti theft is shutting down the vehicle. Any way there is a ticking noise coming from the passenger side underthe hood. But now when i plug my scanner even with the key off it starts running the test like i turned on the ignition and pressed start on my scanner then it throws the link failed thought it might be the scanner but used it on a differenf car and it worked fine pulled the codes. Need some help. Thanks.
