MDX "Acura Care" Maintenance Plan

Has anyone brought MDX "Acura Care" Maintenance Plan and how much did it costed?

I was sold for 3 years / 36K miles for 950$. Is it really worth????

Acura Care Maintenance includes the following services:

Oil and filter2
Tire rotation
Air intake filter
Cabin air filter
Automatic transmission fluid
Rear differential fluid
Transfer case fluid
Brake fluid

Multi-point inspection:

  • Front and rear brakes
  • Parking brake adjustment
  • Tie rod ends
  • Steering gear box and boots
  • Suspension components
  • Drive shaft boots
  • Brake hoses and lines (including ABS/VS)
  • All fluid levels and condition of fluids
  • Exhaust system
  • Fuel lines and connections

    The Edmunds Car Maintenance Guide will estimate what your maintenance should cost for each service for your zip code, so you could go add them up for 36,000 miles and compare the numbers.

    It'll be a while longer before the guide gets updated for the 2014 models, but the earlier model numbers should get you close.

    A quick skim of the 2013 MDX says to me, no, it's not worth it. :)
