knocking sound from transmission
hey, ive got a question, i recently encountered a knocking sound, like a rod knock, but its inconsistent with the engine and its not coming from the engine. it comes and goes when it is under light load, and no load, it knocks, like a rod knock sound almost, and i think its a cracked flexplate.... but now the sound has completely gone away, which disturbs me...
could it be the torque converter, flexplate, or something else that is causing this annoying knocking that is now gone....help
