Fuel tank or gauge issues

My tank will stop filling and the gauge registers only about 3/4 full, never to the fill line any longer. The other gauges tell me I have about 220 miles until empty, so I am not getting the same amount of mileage as I was. This is a 2008 Mercury Mariner with 60k miles. I bought it last year and have put only 10k on it myself.

Does anyone have any input on this issue?
