Lincoln Town Car Trunk Leak

Have a 2007 LTC Signature Ltd. When I open the trunk lid, water runs out of the two weep holes at the very bottom rear of the trunk into the trunk compartment. You would think they would drain to the outside of the car before the trunk is opened but not so. Anyone had this issue and found the source where the water one, was getting in and two, a fix to let that water out before opening the trunk lid and it getting into the trunk compartment?

    The outside of the trunk seal on your TC should drain near the back of the red brake light lenses. Suggest removing them to see if the drain holes are blocked.

    The same exact thing happens on my 2005 LTC
