brake lights

I have a 2000 C230 mercedes-benz and have no brake lights. The rest of the lights work. Only I noticed that when I crank it up the very top light comes on-on both sides, and when I turn lights on all lights work except for the brake lights. I have checked fuses with no luck. Could someone help

    Or is there a relay that controls the brake lights. Unless someone has a fuse diagram, I can not find one for brake lights.

    My equinox 2005 back right brake light is not working. How can I fix it?
