96 Lesabre only has 1st gear and reverse???? SHIFT SELENOID?????
My Son was borrowing my car and drove over what he thought was a chunk of wheel-well slush.
Turned out to be the swivel pad off a semi trailer.
The pad flipped and put a dent(1/2") in the tranny cover toward the front of the cover.
I'm NOT tranny savy. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Vehicle has about 147,000 mi.
Could the dent have damaged the shift selenoid???
