Trade-in for better fuel mileage

hi all,
am NJ resident and in school. I really need some advice whether to trade-in my scion xb 2011 which has less than 29,000 miles with some better mileage suv or car (2014subaru crosstrek hybrid, pzev forester or honda accord hybrid). i have still have payment left on it around 8000.

    You can buy a lot of gas for what it'll cost to get another car - there's not just the price difference, there's taxes and new licensing fees and your insurance could go up.

    Is it worth trading in your gas guzzler?

    Change your major to Business and pay off the student loans ASAP.
