GMC Sierra Battery life

My 2004 Sierra has its original GM battery. Anybody still have a battery that old,and still cranking?

    My $40 Exide from Walmart died yesterday in our cold weather. Got it in 2005 and it would have celebrated its 9th birthday next month. Different car, but you're overdue. May as well go for the record eh? :D

    Oh, there's a gear that shows up on the right side of your post when you hover over your post (it's across from your name). Click that and there's a 4 hour edit option that will open.

    Back to the battery, I have a spare car, so I tend to defer maintenance. Doesn't help if your car dies anywhere but home though. :)
