Olds Intrigue starter issues

I am having issues with my intrigue !!!! It has the 3.5L it wasn't starting so I replaced the crankshaft position sensor due to previous owner said it was bad. It still wouldn't start and
the starter sounded like it was just spinning so I had that tested and it needed to be replaced.
Put the new starter in and still making the same noise. Any ideas?????
