Bad hesitation when I press on the gas petal; Kia Sedona
Just wanted people to know I took my car to 3 different places because of a really bad hesitation when I pressed on the gas petal, it would hesitate then take off fast and finally started to stall out. I told my son it felt like getting to much air .All threes said something different. Kia wanted $1900.00 to fix it. Finally got very frustrated and went home and typed in google on my computer the symptoms and out popped an answer. CHECK YOUR INTAKE HOSE,IF IT HAS CRACK IN IT THEN THAT IS PROBABLY YOUR PROBLEM. The hose is right on top of engine. Opened the hood and within 5 seconds saw 2 big gaping holes in the intake hose. I duct taped it for now and drove around the block just to check it and my engine light went out and my cars purrs like a kitten now. I just don't get why a 3 mechanics couldn't figure this out...so simple I can change the hose myself for $27.95. Wrote 3 not so nice reviews on these companies. Oh yea... and I'm a women
