Honda Pilot VSA always on and doesn't switch off with button until engine is turned off

I just got an 06 pilot shipped in to Nigeria. The VSA switches on by itself and every attempt to switch it off with the button fails. Once its on it never goes of until the car is turned off. Also the cruise control button doesn't switch on despite the button lights up.
