Isuzu Trooper Clutch Slipping

Hello Everyone!

I have a 1990 Isuzu Trooper, 2.8 liter V6, 5 speed manual.

I was wondering if anyone would know why my clutch would word fine when it is cold outside, and slip really bad when it is hot?

Could there maybe be some kind of lubricant that got on the clutch/clutch plate, and then when it gets warm, it starts slipping? I can drive my trooper all around with no problems when it’s cold, but when warm outside, slips horribly. Almost to the point to where I can’t drive it.

Your thoughts?

Thanks a bunch!

Matthew

    I have a 1990 Isuzu Trooper, 2.8 liter V6, 5 speed manual.

It looks like I am needing to get a new clutch. Does anyone know where I can purchase a "heavy duty clutch"? I live in the mountains and 4x4 a lot.

    Thanks a bunch!
