OK the ABS light came on several years ago and has not caused any problems that i know of. But now everytime i hit a bump the dash goes haywire. Then when i hit the brakes it all goes back to normal until i hit another bump. Where do i start looking for problems?

Given the symptoms I would start by looking for a bad (or loose) connection to one of the wheel speed sensors.

Haven't actually had to look for them myself, but there should be a small wire that hooks up to each wheel hub (in the back where its not easy to see of course).
