Toyota Solara Tacky Dashboard

Last February we purchased a 2006 Solara convertible. A few weeks ago I noticed the dashboard has taken on a high shine and is tacky to the touch. I've tried Tough Stuff to remove the stickiness and bring it back to a matte finish. Worked for two days and now it's back.

Discussed it with SW Florida Toyota dealer who sent pictures to the factory. No response yet.

Has anyone else had this problem?
