Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? 1999 Honda Odyssey switch causing stalls. Problem Solved.
Several times 1999 Odyssey stalled while driving. One time car just shut off in the middle of traffic about 20 mph. The other time car was traveling 70 mph on a 20 mile stretch of bridge, fortunately on lane of two lanes on bridge was no traffic because of maintenance I was able to stop at middle of bridge without causing collision. The car were able to restart at both occasions.
The problem came from a faulty switch at ignition, the pic shown here is the inside of switch-burned out because of heat. I bought one to have it replaced from Autozone.
