Infiniti Q50 package with adapative steering

I'm ready to pull the trigger on new Q50 premium. Is anyone leery of the safety of adaptive steering. I'm either buying Nav plus touring pckg (which you get adaptive steering) . or just get Nav plus leather no touring pckg. I realize there was a recall for cold weather areas. Weather not an issue where I live, just a little skid-dish to pull trigger on adaptive steering. Any comments/insights would be appreciated
