Chevy crewcab 4x4 malfuction

I live 100 miles from my girl friend and she said her 2005 chevy crew cab 4x4 with the dash board shift buttons, she told me she pushed the 4 high button and the two High button stays lit up and it won;t go into 4 wheel drive, whats up is it a fuse?
