Lack of traffic

Is it just me or has there been a noticeable lack of traffic on all sites in the forum since the re-design?
I have been a member for over 10 years and I have never seen the sites with such a lack of postings.
The new design is not user friendly. The newest posting should appear first. You should not have to scroll forward many pages to see the latest. Also the current day of the date should appear on all postings. I used to enjoy the forums and looked forward to browsing and posting when appropriate. Not now.

You only have to scroll forward when you haven't read a discussion before. Even then you can just skip to the last page. That was the way the old software worked too; you started with the first page of posts until you got "caught up" in a discussion.

Even better, just Bookmark your favorite discussions and use the My Bookmarks link on the right sidebar to find the new posts. Click the "star" at the top of a discussion to bookmark it.

There's lots more tips in the Welcome to Edmunds Forums! discussion.

Just want to address your comment about activity on the new platform. We're seeing, on average, about 200 new members, 50 new discussions and 1500 new comments per week. I'd say that's fairly healthy.

You might want to try the "Mark All Viewed" selection under Account Options (the little gear underneath your screen name on the right) so that you can get a better sense of exactly how much activity is taking place. I just did that a few minutes ago, and below is what I see now when I visit Recent Discussions...
