How to take evaporator out?

My A/C has a very small leak. I don't see any of the UV detector coming out anywhere in the system. There are only two places I can not see with the blacklight. The top of the compressor where the connectors interface, and the evaporator. Unfortunately, my Haynes manual says nothing about removing the evaporator. It looks like I might have to take the blower motor off and take the clamshell off to get at it. I can't find anything on the internet about removing the evaporator. If anyone could just give me an idea how to take it off I'd sure appreciate it.
