Enclave rolls back (rollback)

I have a 2010 Buick Enclave. I don't understand why it rolls back on even the slightest slope (unless braking or giving reving the engine (gas). Of course rollback should be expected on some occasions but not for normal driving or modest slopes/driveways. I also notice you really have to gun it or get up minor to moderate slopes if backing up. This is like no other car I've owned and seems to be horribly weak for such a car.
I called the dealership and they say this is normal. They may call it normal but common sense, experience and obviousness suggests that this is false. It isn't normal for a good car. Help!?

Not unusual in a modern vehicle, I googled 'automatic transmission rollback' and its pretty common in various rides
