Anti-gas siphon device in gas fill tube? - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude: does the gas fill tube have a blocking mechanism so that gas siphoning with a hose is prevented? I made a couple of attempts to siphon, but was not successful. The tip of my siphon hose/tube was wet, but could not start the flow. I siphon gas out of vehicles to use in lawn maintenance equipment. Thanks !
