Excessive rust on 2007 Toyota Tundra

For the last 2 yrs. I have experienced excessive rust on my 07 SR5 extended cab Tundra with only 23, 600 mi. The bumpers rusted through 2 yrs. ago and the shock mounts, sub frames, other parts etc. are rusting badly. I have used Rust-oleum reformer which helps but doesn't stop the progress of this rust. Have others experienced this severe rust on their gen 2 Tundra? Is this going to be the same rust problems as on the gen 1? I live in Florida. Thank you

I also have a 2007 Limited Edition and I have 20,000 miles on it and the exterior body
is excellent.
The underneath is rusted bad. I live in Vermont but the truck rarely was driven on salty
roads as I worked for the Highway dept. and was working during stormy weather so the
truck was parked.

retired and really can't afford to purchase a new one. I guess they will rust out no matter where
you live.
