spoilt brain box

I took my car for repair of a/c only to be told that it is not start & all wiring has been checked but not faulty. Conclusion is that is the brain box that is spoilt. It is possible?

    Mazda what? Year?

    What are the no start symptoms? Did your mechanic tell you if any codes were thrown and what they were?
