2012 Camry making humming sound.

My Camry makes a humming sound around the left rear of the car with the engine turned off. This has happened several times in the garage and lasts for about 10 minutes. What is causing this sound?

    It may have something to do with the emissions system. I have a 2014 Golf TDI that makes a similar sound for 20-30 seconds after shutting off.
