Bad oil leak one day, no oil leaking the next??
I have a 1996 Grand Marquis that I knew had an oil leak. So I jacked it up to see if I could figure out exactly where it was leaking from, no luck. The next morning I started it up and oil was pouring out from underneath. So I put some oil in it and now it has been two days and not a drop and the dip stick reads fine????
Any input would be greatly appreciated...

check your caps first off then go through the lower end and make sure you dont see caked up dirt sticking to the oil thats the best way to tell because the dirt cakes up where the oil comes out. may be a piston timing that is off. pressuring the oil to spurt out somewhere. hope you find out and get it fixed bud.

Yea. i just bought a 97 and i love that puppy. yes hopefully its not a major probably just something lose.
