Has anyone tried "Rav4 Intermediate Steering Shaft Solution - YouTube" ? Please give feedback on how this fix works for you. It takes $5 in materials and 5 minutes and requires no tools and no mechanical ability. This fix lubricates the splines in the shaft and eliminates the noise or clunk.

    I tried this with about a 50% improvement after 2 applications of 80W gear oil. Maybe a lighter oil would help but other videos about other steering shaft noise recommend grease so I like the 80W since it will flow through a small needle. Roy
