Toyota RAV4 Headlights do not automatically shut off

I just bought a 2008 Rav4 and I know the headlights are supposed to turn off automatically after 30 seconds or when the lock button is pressed twice on the key fob. But mine don't. I'm worried about killing the battery because I forget to turn them off manually (no alarm sounds when you leave them on). Does anyone know if this is an easy fix?

TIA for your help!

Check your L/F door jam switch,,,it controls the beep when you leave your headlights on.
