What's that strange moaning noise on my Acura RDX?
I have a 2008 RDX and lately it has been making a noise like its moaning! Not all the time but recently it has increased. Used to be just when I turned it on but today I heard it on and off while driving. It seems like the sound is coming from the area of the steering wheel or in front of that. The car is driving just fine except for that moaning noise, I can just hear a kid moaning along with it like "I don't wanna go" lol. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

It could be something as simple as low power steering fluid. I'd check that first - easy fix if so!

@frog22...I'm experiencing the same moaning noises with my 08' Acura RDX. Did you ever find out what's causing this noise?
I've experienced the same thing. I believe it to be the movement of the air doors in the environmental system as the air is regulated controlling the temperature. I would be interested if anyone has had this evaluated by a dealer or maintenance facility
Never found out what is making the noise. Took it to my mechanic but of course it didn't make the noise then even when he took it for a test drive.
