Jumper key needed. 1994 Isuzu Rodeo.

My son's 1994 Isuzu Rodeo had one of those "jumper key" switches that was mounted to the steering column. It connected the ignition switch wire via a relay that you had to slide a pcb board into that would complete the connection and enable the vehicle to start. Without the board, there would be no completed connection and it would not start.

My son's last "jumper key" has broken, none of the mechanics where he is can find their butts with either hand and fix this issue via pulling the switch, reconnecting the wire without the jumper and go from there. My son is over 200 miles from home and I am trying to source another "jumper key".

Where might I find one of these things?

I've never heard of a "jumper key"

I suspect you may be talking about some aftermarket security system where a person has to
stick a small "key" into some slot before the car will start.

My advice would be to simply disconnect the system. They tended to cause a lot of trouble anyway.
