2001 Honda Civic LX.
I have water building up inside my car on the driver's side ceiling between the window & windshield. The car does not have a sun roof.

Make sure the rubber gasket seal going all around the door frame is pushed all the way in place. They get loose after being exposed to hot/cold cycles for 13 years (in this case) . The drivers door opens and closes 100 times more than any of the others too, so the gasket gets pulled and pushed around (obviously) so this is most likely the cause.

Yes I checked the door seal. The wet spot is above the door and about 6 inches before the windshield.
