I should of mentioned that my signal lights an flashers dont work but i thought it might be the multifunction swicth but i dont know if it is related, my heat also only gets warm with the lights off, weird, lol ....any help would be apprecative, thanks again...

  • Odometers are designed to be tamper resistant. This is the very first time I have heard of this has happening on a Sebring, and it may affect selling the car. However, to give you the benefit of the doubt, try to re-calibrate the gauge cluster. The mileage is stored by the BCU (body control Unit), so If you refresh the gauge, cluster it may restore the ODO.

The signal lights and flashers are on the same fuse, so open the fuse panel and check the fuse. If it isn't the fuse then it is the switch. However, if all these weird problems keep happening then it is usually the cars computer. .

Are you referring to the total mileage odometer or the trip odometer?
