Electrical and/or transmission problems

My 2012 Sorrento V6 has had problems since I bought it. I am now on my third battery in 2 1/2 years and the car had died in traffic twice in the last 4 months. The car also infrequently slams forward unexpectedly when moving gear lever from park to reverse. The dealers say they cannot find anything wrong and cannot fix something they cannot replicate. I have the feeling that the maintenance people think I am imagining the problems since I am over 70. This is my first KIA. It will definitely be my last. My question is how to get some money out of the car from KIA since I no longer feel safe driving the car.
