Simple Survey for the Mobile Tool Guys
Hi Everyone,
First let me say I think your forums here are awesome. A great place for tradesmen and assorted car types to connect. If by some chance I have posted this in the wrong place please feel free to move it.
Ok, I want to start a tool truck business. I will be servicing a completely different sector than what the SO and Matco guys service.
I am trying to run the numbers for a business plan and I am hoping some of you can share with me:
When can you start to get paid out of the business?
How soon did you reach half and full capacity of sales with your truck?
I realize there are a bunch of parameters that I may or may not have thought of, but I am just looking for a best guess.
Thanks a bunch in advance

I spent nearly 20 years in the mobile tool business. I started on a truck and ended up as a Regional Sales Manager.
I don't understand what you mean by a "different sector" nor do I know what you mean by "half and full capacity" with your truck.
It's a tough business and I would think it's tougher now than ever.
