Chevy Equinox oil plug

I was told that i need to put a lock tight on my plug when i change the oil has anyone else heard this

    no do not use Loctite. You want to use anti seize. any local car parts store will have it. it is usually gray in color.

    Don't think I'd use anti-seize either

    No do not use this either. Just clean the plug,. make sure the sealing surface is clean, install and tighten.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
