Chevy TrailBlazer Brakes lock

Troubleshooting new tires, i discovered that the front calipers do not seem to release the brake. I took a hammer to pry the calipers off then used a vise to push the pad back. upon reassembly and retest, it is the same, hammer, vise, etc.
I tried disabling the ABS removing the fuse thinking that might be applying the brake with no luck.

would replacing the master brake cyl 2 months ago be the cause??

HELP?!?!?
