1998 dodge stratus wont start

My 98 dodge stratus shut off on me while driving on the highway I cant figure out whats wrong with it. I replaced the coil pack the plug wires changed the spark plugs replaced the fuel pump relay automatic shut down relay the ignition switch relay the cam position sensor the crank shaft position sensor. I can hear the fuel pump turn on so thats working and the timing belt was fixed in the past 12 months im at a loss please help the engine turns over but wont start it backfired and smoked thru the throttle body the last time I tried to start it also the only light that came on when it originally died was the oil light the check engine light isnt on

    sounds like timing issue. how sure are you that timing belt was repaired 100% properly? can you inspect its wear & tension by removing a cover? is it possible to try an inductive timing-light to verify that the timing is not wandering too much?
