Ford 500 throttle body recall
I have a 2006 Ford 500 sedan. I got a letter from Ford regarding a recall for throttle body issues. I already had the transmission rebuilt while it was still under warranty because it kept slipping when accelerating or decelerating and they supposedly updated the car's computer. The problem all along was the throttle body and when I got the recall letter, I brought it in to Galpin Ford in North Hills in Southern California. They cleaned sensors and throttle body, supposedly and problem got better for 2 weeks. Steadily worsened over time and now this crappy car is a death trap. Galpin claims it's a transmission problem and warranty is expired for that. Unfortunately, Galpin is also a client of my employer's and I'm afraid to make a big stink but I think I may have to sue to get this resolved without costing a fortune.
