Isuzu Trooper Carburberator Removal

Can someone tell me the secret to removing the old carb on my 2.3L. I have removed the two (12mm) nuts on the left side of the carb but the two on the right (head side) are crammed in there and I can't get my open end wrench in there. It's to tight for a box end. I have been to 4 tool stores today to see if there is anything I can use but with no luck. It's almost like it needs to be a open end 12mm with a 90 degree bend.
