I have a 03 Dakota. My windshield washer indicator light is on and stays on. What's the problem?

I recently replaced the water pump,when doing so you have to remove the washer fluid bottle/coolant overflow for more access,anyways I put it all back together and since then my windshield washer indicator light comes on about 20 seconds after i start the truck up..I have checked all the plugs to the washer pump and fluid level indicator,its full of fluid,it sprays and works fine.fuse is ok...I am guessing it might be the fluid level indicator is bad...anyone have any problems like this

Sounds like a sticky float inside the bottle.
